GameUP! was an immersive 3-4 month game development and design BootCamp in Bogota, Colombia, that ran from 2015 to 2017. Back in 2015, it was the first of its kind in the country.
During the 3-4 months of the BootCamp, students would learn game programming in Unity, game design basics and pixel art with around 3 to 4 classes per week. Furthermore, we had national speakers like Jairo Nieto (Former co-founder of Brainz Games, acquired by JAM City) as well as online international speakers like Camilo Garcia (Lead Developer for Sims 4 in Electronic Arts) and Kellee Santiago (Co-founder and former President of That Game Company)
A small interrogation scene on Unity as an experiment for USC Games class. Created with ChatGPT API and Oculus Voice SDK to create text-to-speech and speech-to-text.
